https://vimeo.com/event/4273062 Tinatia Williams answered the Lord’s call at home on Saturday, April 13, 2024. God saw fit to return this beautiful rose back to his heavenly garden. She is the daughter of the late Thiogest Williams and Gilda Daniels, both of New Orleans, LA. Tinatia was born and raised in New Orleans, LA where she attended public schools. She along with her family later relocated to Austin, TX in 2005, where she continued her education and graduated from Goodwill Industries Adult Learning Center, obtaining a well-earned and deserved High School diploma. Tinatia was a member of Blacks Memorial MB Church, Austin, TX under the leadership of Rev. Lester Patton. Tinatia had a very contagious smile that could light up any room. She was very quiet and reserved. However, when she spoke, you had no choice but to listen. A very proud and loving mother of nine children, and grandmother of 7, Tinatia would take care and feed the entire neighborhood and never turn away a child from being loved. On any given day, you would find her sitting and all of the children, would just be piled on or around her. Her family was her joy. She took pleasure in making sure they were good and made sure everyone knew NOT to play with her children or grandchildren. She enjoyed music, dancing, reading, writing and poetry. She was a very devoted daughter. She often expressed how much she missed her mother and now, God saw fit to reunite the two. The life she lived and will power to “never give up on your dreams” is a true testament of who Tinatia was. Her legacy lives on through each one of her children. She will be sorely missed. She is proceeded in death by her loving parents; Thiogest Williams and Gilda Daniels; her maternal and paternal grandparents, her fiancé; Lloyd Turner, her son; Ja’Hiran Turner, and siblings; Cleve Baham and Kirkland Woolridge. She leaves behind her siblings; Pamela Lewis (Desmond), Lazonia Baham-Hart, Thiogest Williams (Anita), Tyneisha Williams-Wallace(Gene), Jeremiah Williams(Deanna), Jeremy Williams, Troy Woolridge, Thiogest Woolridge (Brenda), LaKenya Woolridge, Elcee Woolridge and Derrick Woolridge. Her children; Ashley Williams, Brishae Williams, Elliott Williams, Elliotnisha Williams, Ashton Williams, Ariel Williams, Amari Turner and Lloyd Turner. Her 7-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
