Celebration of Life With hearts full of love and gratitude, we celebrate the beautiful life of Sherrie Boffman-Zamora, whose vibrant spirit and unwavering love for her family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. Sherrie was born on March 25, 1960, in Ballinger, Texas. She later made her home in Kyle, Texas, where she built a life centered on faith, family, friendship, and serving others. On July 21, 2026, Sherrie peacefully departed this life, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion. For 27 wonderful years, Sherrie shared a loving marriage with her devoted husband, Daniel Zamora. Together they created a home filled with laughter, support, and cherished memories. She was a proud and loving mother to Cherisse Boffman Arnold, Nia Marina Zamora, Krista Dian Zamora, David Zamora, and Jacob Zamora. Her greatest joy was her family, and she poured her heart into each of them with unconditional love and fierce devotion. Sherrie was also a proud grandmother to Lyah Marie Arnold, Amaya Yvette Duffey, Jordyn Lee Smith, and Kane S. Zamora Franklin. Becoming a grandmother brought her immeasurable happiness, and she treasured every moment spent creating lasting memories with her grandchildren. Known affectionately by family and friends as "Taz," Sherrie earned her nickname because she was fearless, straightforward, and never hesitated to speak her mind. She believed in honesty, stood firmly for what was right, and fiercely protected the people she loved. Beneath her strong exterior was a heart overflowing with kindness, generosity, and compassion. Helping others was not only part of Sherrie's character—it was her calling. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), she dedicated her career to caring for others with empathy, professionalism, and a genuine desire to make a difference in their lives. Her patients, coworkers, and everyone she encountered experienced the warmth and compassion that came so naturally to her. Outside of her career, Sherrie found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved hosting backyard gatherings where family and friends could come together, enjoy great food, listen to her favorite music, laugh, dance, and celebrate life. Her home was a place where everyone felt welcomed, loved, and accepted. Sherrie embraced life with contagious enthusiasm. Whether it was celebrating a major milestone or finding happiness in everyday moments, she approached each day with excitement, gratitude, and an infectious smile. She had a unique ability to make others feel seen, valued, and loved simply by being herself. Although Sherrie is no longer with us in body, her love, laughter, strength, and unforgettable spirit will continue to live on through her family and everyone whose life she touched. Her legacy is one of unwavering love, selfless service, resilience, and joy. Today, we celebrate not only the life she lived but the countless lives she enriched.
