Patricia Ann Smallwood was born to Douglas Smallwood Sr. and Vivian Mitchell Johnson on December 14, 1952 in Austin, Texas. She is preceded in death by both parents and stepfather Charles Johnson, brother Douglas Smallwood Jr., and special friend Michael Earls. Patricia received her formal education in public schools of Austin having attended L.L. Campbell Elementary, Kealing Jr. High and the original L. C. Anderson High School. She later attended Nixon-Clay Business College. Patricia childhood was God filled and she accepted Christ at an early age at Zion Hill Baptist Church. Affectionately called “Momma”, “Grandma Pat”, “Gangsta Granny”, “OG Pat”. She was a loving devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a true friend to all she came in contact with. She loved and cherished the relationships she had with God, family and friends. Patricia had friends from of all walks of life and friends of all ages. Her friendship with Mattie Flowers speaks volumes; they had been friends since second grade and continued until she took her last breath. Being the big sister to four younger brothers and a younger sister she saw herself as the spoiled diva in charge. Growing up with her brothers here in Austin she took her younger brothers under her wing showing them the ropes of life. Patricia loved singing and would often fill the home with her eloquent words of melody. She had an eye for fashion and a unique sense of style. Whenever you thought of Patricia you thought fashion. Fashion defined her in every sense of the word, along with her essence in penmanship and writing. Patricia leaves behind four children Tracey Haywood (Terence) of Austin, Texas, Michelle Smallwood (Jeremy) of Houston, Texas, Vomika Smallwood (Chante) of Austin, Texas and son Undhore Smallwood (Tiffany) of Austin, Texas. Patricia leaves behind six grandsons, six granddaughters. She also leaves behind six great grandsons, and three great granddaughters. Patricia leaves behind four brothers Charles Johnson (Monique), Jeffery Johnson (Camelia) of Austin, Texas. Brian Smallwood, David Smallwood (Valerie) of Baltimore, Maryland and sister Teri Smallwood of Baltimore, Maryland. Her aunt Helen Williams of Atlanta, Georgia, caring stepmother Juanita Smallwood of Baltimore, Maryland, a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Patricia’s loving personality and comforting spirit was often displayed among encounters with family and friends. She loved assigning humorous nicknames to her love ones throughout the years
