Kristan Hope Jeansonne June 10th 1980 – July 11th 2026 With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend, Kristan Hope Jeansonne, affectionately known to so many as Krissy. Krissy was born on June 10, 1980, and from the very beginning she brought light into the lives of those who loved her. She was blessed with beautiful hazel eyes, long blonde hair that seemed like a crown of glory, a radiant smile that could melt your heart, and a unique, contagious laugh that could brighten even the darkest day. Like many, Krissy’s journey through life included seasons of hardship and difficult struggles. Yet those who knew and loved her understood that her life was so much more than the challenges she faced. They choose to remember her kindness, her gentle spirit, her beautiful smile, and the joy she brought simply by being herself. Her story was one of love, perseverance, grace, and the enduring hope that never completely faded. Krissy leaves behind the family who loved her beyond measure: her parents, Roger Jeansonne and Kathy Klein Urban; her beloved children, Noah Nichols and Angel Nichols; her siblings, Amber Rogers, Jennifer Jeansonne, and Roger Timothy Jeansonne; along with many other cherished relatives and dear friends whose lives were forever touched by knowing her. Although our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort in the promises of God. We rejoice in knowing that every burden she carried has now been laid down, every sorrow has been replaced with perfect peace, and she rests safely in the loving arms of her Savior. A Celebration of Life honoring Krissy will be held at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church where family and friends will gather to remember a life that, though imperfect like all of ours, was deeply loved and will never be forgotten. “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the children of God.” — 1 John 3:1 Though she is no longer with us in this life, the love she leaves behind will continue to live in every heart she touched, and the hope we have in Christ reminds us that this goodbye is not forever.
