She was known to many by the nicknames, JuJubean & Liyah. She attended the Restoration Temple of Deliverance under the leadership of Apostle John Horne with her late deceased great Aunt Sylvia Smith when she was a toddler. Jaliyah's time at Chisholm Trail Middle School in 6th grade was a significant part of her journey. It's where she likely made lasting memories, learned valuable lessons, and developed friendships that enriched her school experience. Each day at school would have been a steppingstone in her growth and education, Shaping her into the person she was becoming. Jaliyah's kindness and generosity were truly remarkable. She had a heart of gold and always went out of her way to help those in need, especially the homeless. Her presence had a way of brightening up everyone's day and she had a special gift for making people feel good. Her selfless nature and caring spirit had a positive impact on everyone she encountered. Jaliyah, Desirae, and Andrea C. had a shared dream of starting a business to support the homeless before Jaliyah's passing. When the time comes, this venture has the potential to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need. Their dedication and passion will drive them to create a business that not only generates income but also provides support and resources for the homeless community. This vision serves as a testament to their compassionate hearts and desire to make a difference in the world. The phrase "you got a dollar" was more than just a saying to her. It was a lighthearted reminder of the value of even the smallest gestures of generosity. It served as a playful prompt to share and connect with others, highlighting the joy that can be found in the act of giving, no matter how small. On April 11, 2024, at 2:15 a.m. the Lord called her name from labor to rest. The loved ones waiting for her in Heaven’s gates include: Her Grandmother Valerie M. Steward, Great Grandmother Lola Faye Green, 2nd Great Grandmother Lola Faye Green, and Her 3rd Grandmother & Grandfather Patricia & Pete Duran & Her Great Aunt Sylvia Smith. Loved ones left behind to cherish those precious memories are parents: Jazmine Green (Jeff) and Jamal Dodson (Monique); Siblings: Desirae Dodson, Armonie Stevenson, Prince Stevenson, Mylan Pauley, Mya Pauley, Janae Dodson, Joanis Joiner, Jefferey Joiner Jr. Grandparents: Susan & Glenn Jones, Grandfather William Franklin Green, Grandfather Verten Dodson, Clerise Green-Bonus Grandparent, Great Grandfather James Galloway. Aunt & Uncles: Paul M.
