“One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after, that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple.” Psalm 27:4 Gerald Wayne Little Sr. was the fourth son born on October 23,1956 to the late Seth Little Sr. and Margaret Hagler Little. Gerald graduated from Dickinson High School in 1975. After graduation, Gerald attended College of the Mainland and was later employed at NASA Space Center. Gerald’s journey led him to Austin, Texas in 1985. While there, Gerald was employed at the State Comptroller as a System Analyst Manager until his retirement in 2023. Gerald accepted Christ later in life and was baptized in 1989. Gerald was a passionate believer and would share the gospel with anyone that would listen. Gerald served as teacher, intercessor and mentor in his local church. Gerald accepted the call to ministry in 2016 and was ordained in 2017. In 2019, Gerald followed the leading of the Holy Spirit and with his wife, founded Kingdom Life Center in Austin, Texas. Gerald served faithfully in senior leadership until his health began to fail. While in Austin, Gerald met Alecia Mackey and the two became one on October 4, 1997. In August of 2000 Gerald became a father again. He was overjoyed at the birth of his baby girl, Amani Gernea. Gerald was a true family man. His sons Gerald II and Don along with his five grandchildren, meant the world to him. Always doing whatever it takes to provide and care for his immediate and extended family. Whether it was working professionally, gardening, cooking, or DIY home projects, Gerald was always giving his all. Although he is no longer physically present, his love and laughter will continue to live in our hearts. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Orlando and Steven. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Alecia; his children, Gerald II (Dominique), Don and Amani. His grandchildren; Tia, Tailey, Jeriah, Gerald III, Daveyn. His siblings; Margery (Isaac), Lewis Sr. (Ora), Seth (Rita) and Donnie, sister-in-laws; Carolyn, Debra, Tracey (Robert); mother-in-law Roberta Mackey and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. “From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.” Luke 12:48b
