Livestream Link - https://vimeo.com/event/5957972 Early Life Clint Matthew Jackson was born September 15, 1978 in Corsicana TX at Navarro County Memorial Hospital. He was baptized in Jesus name under the leadership of Pastor Elder Samuel L. Long where he gave his life to Christ. Clint found his love for music at a very early age. Patterning after his father Romanuel Watson, Clint picked up the guitar without haste. He made a guitar out of a cereal box and rubber bands and was excited to play it at church. It was then, 1st Lady Ruth Long bought him his first acoustic guitar, followed by his mom with his first electric guitar. Clint was also known for his love for MC Hammer pants and making Bart Simpson T-Shirts for family and friends. In 1994, Clint moved to Austin TX with mom and siblings where he became a member of Grace Covenant Christian Center under the leadership Bishop Alan Young. Life and Legacy Clint was the oldest of eleven siblings and naturally carried a bold and unforgettable presence. He attended Bethel Temple Apostolic Church and attended Lincoln Elementary School and Collins Middle School in Corsicana, Texas. Clint was gifted in playing several different instruments, but his greatest love was the lead guitar. Inspired by his father, Romanuel, whom he loved to imitate, Clint would often play the guitar with his teeth just like him. Music became one of the many ways Clint expressed himself and connected with others. Raised in church by his mother, Clint was no stranger to experiencing the power and presence of God. No matter where life took him, faith was always deeply rooted within him. Clint truly was the life of the party. He could imitate almost anyone at the drop of a hat and had a humor that could leave a room in tears from laughter—both intentionally and unintentionally. Fearless, daring, and full of personality, Clint brought energy wherever he went. His laughter, storytelling, and unforgettable sense of humor could be found in every room he entered. Many came to know and love Clint as “Rev. Turner,” a memorable character he portrayed during his acting days in the stage play, Phazes of a Woman’s Soul. Clint also performed with numerous bands and talented musicians throughout Texas, including the group Made Flesh, where he released original songs such as “Jesus the Lover of My Soul,” “Get on Up,” along with several instrumentals. Above all, Clint deeply loved his children and proudly celebrated their accomplishments every chance he got. No matter the atmosphere, his frame of mind, or the circumstances surrounding him, Clint never hesitated to speak about the goodness of Jesus. Clint was a man of many talents and passions. He was a self-proclaimed chef, barber, actor, storyteller, singer, songwriter, artist, and creative spirit. Regardless of the environment, Clint always found a way to pursue personal growth, create something meaningful, and leave his mark on the people around him. Three beautiful children Kyra Symone Jackson, Jamison Matthew Jackson, and Julian Alexander Jackson. Siblings: Tawanna Wilkins, Tyrone Watson, Yasha Lockhart-Johnson, Emanuel Lockhart, Jerry Vaughn, Brannon Watson, Yvette Vaughn, Jocelyn Watson, Darius Watson and Demanuel Watson. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins who loved him dearly.
