    Willie B. Bedford

    August 24, 1944 - January 30, 2021

https://www.flipsnack.com/alcbf/willie-bedford.html I have fought a good fight! I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day; and not for me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me. II Timothy 4:7-9 Willie B. Bedford was born in love to parents David Bedford, Sr. and Everlina Neal, on August 24, 1944 in Travis County. Willie B. Bedford has a few loves. His first love was his faith in God. He loved attending church and inviting everyone else to join him. He loved his family dearly, his wife, his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Willie had various joys during his lifetime. He retired from the Bedford Excavating business he owned for many years. He enjoyed being outside plowing up his watermelon patch in the yard, BB Q’N on his pit with family and friends, tending to his chicken, and being with people. His true passion was hunting and fishing on the coast on one of his boats; Bible Study at home with family; teaching his grandkids his childhood things like, using a toilet paper roll and dawn dish soap to blow bubbles; watching his westerns; keeping up with the news, weather, loving life, Christ and people. Willie was president of the Ushers at the St. Elmo Baptist Church. Willie B. Bedford was preceded in death by his mother and father David Bedford, Sr. and Everlina Bedford. Brothers and sisters Sidney Bedford, Isiah Bedford, Ira Samuel Bedford, Percy Lee Bedford, Jim Bedford, David Chambers, Clarence Bedford, Sr., Lillian Epright and Josephine Williams. He leaves to cherish precious memories; his devoted wife, Darlene Bedford; brother, John Bedford (Marggie) and Lawrence Chambers; his children, Blair Campbell (LaQuinta), Latresa Johnson (Victor), Darrell Harrison (Autum), Derrick Bedford and LaTonya Mathis; grandchildren, Deudra Renee Bedford, Amrion, Ashton, Aderious Paige, Shanietra, Chris, Shatoya, Morgan, Darion, Allea, Rory Jr., Jodie, Jordan, Gabby, Madison, Darryl Jr., DaJon, Jessica, Jerrod (deceased), and Daniele; 12 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
