God called his name and he answered on the anniversary death date of his mother Tommie Mae Wroe-Fennell. Born on March 22, 1950 to Vernon Lee Goode Sr. and Tommie Mae Wroe-Fennell. Vernon was a Christian and joined church at an early age. He attended San Antonio School district. He graduated from St. Phillips College with a degree in Pharmacy and Architecture. He enlisted and served in the U.S. Air Force. Vernon was never married and had no children. He was preceded in death by his father Vernon Lee Goode Sr., mother Tommie Mae Wroe-Fennell, grandmother Iola Kinney, cousin Brian Keith Thompson, aunt Alice Marie Thompson-Washington and brother Carl Goode. Vernon is survived by his sister Peggie Wroe Coursey, brother's Robert Wroe, Johnny Goode, uncle Roland Keith Kinney, niece Cherie Wroe, nephews Channon Coursey, Chawn Coursey, Quentin Goode, John Pierre Goode, and Pascal Goode as well as numerous great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews and other relatives and friends.
