    February 3, 1966 - October 20, 2021

A beautiful life began for Sharon Denise Young on February 3,1966 in Austin, Texas. Born to the late Helen Earline Reed and the late Alton Lee Black. Sharon entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 in Austin, Texas she was 55 years old. Sharon was married to Reginald "Reggie' Jerrod Young Sharon attended public schools at Blackshear Elementary School and Lanier High School. She grew up attending her grandfathers church St. John College Heights Baptist Church. She worked for Outreach Home Health Care. Sharon loved going to play Bingo and playing cards. She loved playing pool at H&H and TC's Lounge, she was a pool shark. Before the week is up you could always count on her to get her scratch off tickets cause as she say "This may be my lucky day" All her friends can attest to that. Her ride to die friends: Rosie Davis, Brenda Hancock, Dee Gee, and Kim. She took care of Kenny Gonzales and they were like two peas n a pod. We will keep Sharon in our hearts and we'll see you when we get there. You could always see her on a daily basis with her family playing cards and having fun. Can't forget her dog "Baby Tiny". Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, mother Helen Earline Reed and father Alton Lee Black, grand parents, Rev. Mrs. W.M. Reed, one aunt Barbara Ann Reed, one uncle Donnie Reed, nephew Melvin Young, first cousins, Derrick Reed, Monesha Shaw, Michael "Chick" Reed all of Austin, Texas and Tony Hardy of San Antonio, Texas. Sharon leaves to cherish her memory one sister Chiffon "Tina" Reed (Wiilie),nieces LeVonda Jeffery, Georgenia Young, four aunts, Wilma Reed, Dorothy Hardy, Delores Ferguson & Patricia Reed, one great aunt Robbie D. Overton and a host of cousins, family, & friends.
