Madison. Sharon accepted her walk with Christ at an early age beginning her journey at Grant AME Chapel Austin, Tx. where she was named Miss Grant Chapel. Later in life she transitioned and completed her spiritual journey at Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor A.W. Anthony Mays where she served as a Greeter, Usher and a faithful member of the Senior Mission. She appreciated and thoroughly enjoyed her stewardship in every capacity. Sharon attended public school in Austin, Tx including L.L. Campbell, Kealing, University Junior High School and Austin High School graduating in 1967. Sharon continued her education by attending Nixon Clay Business College and graduating from Austin Community College where she received an International Business Degree in May 2015. With this degree she found a love for traveling and has seen the world by way of China, Paris, Rome and many other destinations just to name a few. Sharon was an active member of the Austin community and took pride in her work ethics. She was employed at The City of Austin, Internal Revenue Service, Dell and The University of Texas. She was well known and loved for serving many years as a proud distributor of Home Interior. She took pride in her community service and encouraged others to further their education. As an author, Sharon enjoyed the pages written about her life. Sharon enjoyed not only traveling but shopping for sales at her beloved Big Lots where she loved shopping for her grandchildren, always seeing to their needs and wants (more so their wants than needs). She also loved watching British comedies with her late friend Bernice Mosley. Sharon was united in marriage to Robert Lee and to this union their child Nakia was born. Sharon departed this life on Saturday January 9, 2021. She was proceeded in death by her mother Myrtle Bell White, her father S.L. Madison, step-father Louis White, grandmother Ella Bell, her sister Charmaine White and her best friend Bernice Mosely. Sharon is survived by her son Nakia Lee (Janice), grandchildren: Nakia Wilkins-Lee, Xachary Aaron Lee, niece Alexis Threadgill, her loving cousins: Robert Reed (Lashell Reed) and Diane Jones, other family members, a proud family of honorary sons and sisters including Vicki Hillard and Roslyn Lazar-Payne and a multitude of loving friends.
