    July 25, 1968 - June 22, 2021

    https://www.flipsnack.com/alcbf/robert-hunter.html Robert Louis Hunter, Jr. of Austin went home to be at rest on June 22, 2021. Robert was born July 25, 1968 in Austin, Texas to Robert L. Hunter, Sr. and Shirley Arnold-Hunter. He grew up in Austin and attended the Austin Public Schools, graduating from Lyndon B. Johnson High School (LBJ). He received Christ at an early age and was a member at Rehoboth Primitive Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend R. D. Reese. As an adult, Robert moved to Houston, Texas and united with New Hope Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Theodore Deavors. When he returned home to Austin, he joined St. James Missionary Baptist Church and continued his walk of faith under the leadership of Dr. B. W. McClendon, Sr. until he was called home by God. Robert’s work history began as manager at Great American Cookie Company before beginning his tenure with the Internal Revenue Service. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Hunter, Sr.; brother, Blake Hunter; Grandparents, Frank Green, Matthew Hunter Sr., and Icella Hunter-Barnett. Robert leaves to cherish his memory, Majik; his mother, Shirley Hunter (Nelson); siblings, Icella Hunter, Kimberly Spencer, Karl Spencer, Karla Spencer, LaTonya Traylor, Bradley Sauceda, LaToya McIntosh, Sean McIntosh, Shannon Hill; his special niece, Chelsye Wolfe; nephews, Christopher Wolfe (LeShondra) and Greggory Sophus (LaKeisha); grandmother, Minnie Lee Eddie. He also leaves a host of family and friends to remember and celebrate his life.
