Randy WAS BORN IN Atlanta, Georgia. His father was in the Military; so, they visited numerous States and Countries; but settled in San Antonio, TX. Randy attended Oliver Wendell Holmes High school. He was recruited by IBM in 1974 and worked at IBM until God called him home. He began as an engineer and was promoted to Global sales where he traveled extensively. He worked for IBM for 46 years. Randy loved God and was Baptized at a young age. He was a member of St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church the NorthStar and he served as a Deacon, Finance Chair and a Sunday School Teacher. He ministered to those that did not have a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior and taught anyone that asked for assistance in their study of God’s word. Randy was united in marriage to Hattie Haywood in November 1994 and they were married 26 years when he passed, which he would often tell her that she is the love of his life and she would tell him that he was the Love of her life and a very special gift from God. They loved and cared for each other with their whole heart and you rarely saw the two apart. Randy loved to spend time with all of our children, grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. He enjoyed us taking the Grand Children on vacation every summer and attending our children Graduations and Christmas with us. Randy would always test them on scriptures in the bible concerning Jesus birth. Praise God they knew the answers.
