She received her heavenly wings on Thursday, September 8, 2022, while at home with her children and family. She was preceded in death by her Husband-- Sergeant Robert Young Sr., Mother-- Virginia Marshall, Sister-- Kathy Organ and Son-- James Hutchison. Linda found Christ at a young age while attending Greater Mt Zion Baptist Church under Pastor Gaylon Clark. Later she became a member of St. James Missionary Baptist Church under Pastor B.W. McClendon; where she joined the choir. Linda attended school at Blackshear Elementary, Kealing Middle School and Reagan High School in Austin, Texas. While I'm High School she participated in ROTC and further her career working for Checks, Minnie’s Beauty Salon, Super 8 Motel, AT&T, University of Texas and Motorola. She was a wife, mother, sister and ride or die friend. She loved to sing and occasionally sung with Jean and the Rolletts with her father Leo Brown Sr. and her late aunt Gloria Jean Brown. Linda was was always changing her hairstyles and enjoyed cracking jokes to make everyone laugh and smile. It was evident that Linda was loved by many and was the life of the party when her family and friends came together. She would dress up as different characters; like giving herself a beard and dressing up as an old man to fool us. Linda truly kept the party alive and kept us all laughing especially the grandchildren who were the light of her world. Linda leaves memories to cherish by her Father-- Leo Brown Sr. and --Step-mother Shirley Mackey-Brown, Austin, Texas. Two Sons-- Bobby Hutchison, Austin, Texas, Donald Hutchison, Austin, Texas. Two Daughters-- Samisha Hutchison (Malachi), Austin, Texas and Regina Hutchison (John), Austin, Texas. Two Brothers-- Leo Brown Jr. (Chandrika) and Jimmy Brown (Deshon) Manor, Texas and One-half sister-- LaTonya Brown, Katy, Texas. Two Step-brothers-- Altee Hardin Sr. (Valerie) Austin, Texas and Keith Hardin (Deidre) Arlington, Texas and One Step-sister-- Vickie Hardin-Bledsoe, Manor, Texas. Eighteen grandchildren, Six great-grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
