    Juanita Pittmon

    September 24, 1935 - November 11, 2021

Juanita grew up surrounded by her loved ones, grandmothers, aunts, uncles, and tons of cousins. She found the Lord at an early age and was baptized at New Hope Baptist Church at the young age of 9 years old, never straying too far from His hand. Juanita attended school in Austin, TX. Juanita met and married Madger D. Pittmon on May 3, 1952, and their firstborn she referred to as Ann who preceded her in death, mother, father, and stepmother Doris Bell. Juanita leaves to cherish her loving memory the remaining 13 children as follows: Audrey Pittmon of Grand Prairie, TX, Madger D. Pittmon Jr. (Rhonda) of Houston, TX, Linda Duplechin (Gerald) of Round Rock, TX, Michael ‘Pee Wee’ Pittman (Poo) of Round Rock, TX, Carl Holliday (Alma) of Taylor, TX, Bridget P. Ramzah (David) of Austin, TX, Xavier Pittman of Houston, TX, Diane McKinney of Killeen, TX, Darrell W. Carothers of Austin, TX, Charrvelle Callahan (Michael) of Kyle, TX, Ardell Pittmon (Nicole) of Leander, TX, Tonya ‘Cat’ Thomas (Cleve) of Austin, TX, Kenmon Pittman (Dana) of Houston, TX. She leaves five half-sisters (Marva, Jennifer, Sandra, Willie Mae, Angela) and one half-brother (Vernon ‘Scrappy’). Also, an aunt and a cousin that she loved as sisters (Floy Mae Moffit and Hazel Lee), which some referred to them as the three-musketeers. Juanita’s descendants are as follows: Grandchildren Tamara, Tawanna, Michael, Nikki, Elliott, Chris, Ramone, Anthony, Michael, Kenan, Marvan III, Tarrence, Isaiah, Kenisha, La’Tia, Darnell, Davon, Charrealle, Charrissa, BreShae, Braylan, Jayden, Jordan, Blake, Juanita, Isaiah, Kenmon Jr, Kierra, 25 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter Amiah. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Her hobbies were watching the Soap Operas, collecting pictures and her favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys. She loved to be called "Sweetheart" by her grandchildren, and her friends loved to call her "Sweet Nita".
