https://www.flipsnack.com/alcbf/diane-demoz.html Diane Marie Easley was the 3rd child born to the union of Joseph Alexander Easley Sr. and Gaynell Marie Easley-Clark on April 23, 1954. Diane gave her life to Christ at a young age while attending Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church in Bastrop, Texas. She was a proud Maroon as a graduate of Austin High School class of 1973. She would later meet and marry Hangus Demoz. Diane spent over twenty years as a Hospital Technician at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin, Texas. Diane loved spending time with her family nieces and her nephews becoming her first generation of children nurtured. She enjoyed cooking and loved dancing. She had a smile that would light up a room and an infectious laugh that drew others into her zest for life. She moved to Dallas, Texas and began a career at Texas Instruments. Eventually she would have two boys of her own Jeffery Ryan Collins and Byron Pascal Collins and who became the loves of her life. She and her children fellowshipped at Greater Faith Baptist Church in Mesquite, Texas until she returned to Austin, Texas in 2017 to care for her aging Father. Diane departed this side of life on January 22, 2022. Diane is preceded in death by her Mother Gaynell Marie Easley-Clark, Father Joseph Alexander Easley Sr., Son Byron Pascal Collins, Sister Betty Jean Sanders, Brother John Albert Easley, and Niece Joeresharloyn Marie Easley. She leaves to cherish her memories; son, Jeffery R. Collins (Trina), Grandson Jalen Collins, Sister Martha Easley, Brothers, Joseph A Easley Jr. (Gwen), Jackie Straw (Pam), Stepfather Kenny Clark (Shirley), Great Aunt Lovie M. Thompson, Nephews, DeLeon Burleson (Cheryl), Nugent Golden, Joseph Easley III (Ninoshka), Keith Conner (Nicole), Dante’ Conner (Sateidra), Nieces Vanice Hayes (Patrick), Chevalier DeShay (Carl), Chasity Mitchell, Lee Caldwell (Glen), Anne Montgomery (Troy), Tara Easley, and a host of relatives and friends. There will be a void that will forever be hard to fill in our lives.
