    Beverly Ann Owens White

    September 28, 1943 - November 29, 2019

Beverly Ann Owens-White passed away on Friday, November 29, 2019 at the age of 76. She was born on September 28, 1943 in Austin, Texas. Beverly was the daughter of Willie Owens Sr., and Berline Washington Owens, who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents, her husband John E. White Sr., two sisters Shirley E. Owens Bunton, and Jan R. Owens Brumfield, and one brother Willie Owens Jr., also preceded her in death. Beverly attended the Austin public schools and was a graduate of the old LC Anderson High School in 1961. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of the Church of the New Testament until her health failed. She enjoyed reading, solving cross word puzzles, and listening to Christian music. Beverly was also a housewife and homemaker who loved to cook and care for her children and visit with other family members. Left behind to cherish Beverly’s memories are her children, John E. White Jr., Richie A. White, Rhonda R. White, Donald D. White, Dinah D. White, David L. White, and Rachel F. White. In addition are her siblings: Charles A. Owens Sr., Thomas J. Owens Sr., Samuel D. Owens, Sandra Kay Owens Bedford, Isaac Owens, Rachel F. Owens Johnson, Jimmie M. Owens, and Jesse L. Owens. She also leaves a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many relatives and friends. We will miss Beverly’s kind and humble spirit. Psalms 23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
