Romeo Goods

Romeo “Ennie” Goods, age 73 and a lifetime resident of Granger, TX entered into enteral rest at Ascension Seton Hospital, Sunday, June 1 st , 2025, surrounded by his devoted family after a courageous and recent battle with cancer. Born on July 3 rd, 1951 in Taylor, TX, to the late Christine Goods, Romeo professed a Hope in Christ at an early age. Romeo worked for the Georgetown Railroad as a Track Worker for 38 years August 7, 1973, until his retirement on July 29, 2011. He lived his life to the fullest. Romeo was joined in holy matrimony to the love of his life, Evelyn Lynn Trejo- Goods on May 1 st, 1986. They were two peas in a pod, you would see them everywhere together until her death on March 16, 2020. Romeo loved his wife, would do anything for her, and missed her dearly. Romeo loved tinkering with his truck, feeding his many cats, standing outside the Valero gas station (Old Gina’s Kwik Pantry) watching the many 18-wheelers come through Granger, or you could catch him at his niece Michelle’s (Deda) house everyday taking out her dog Dabo, but Uncle always said, “that dog is crazy”. Those are the many things we all will miss about Romeo. Romeo was preceded in death by his loving wife: Evelyn Lynn Trejo- Goods; mother-Christine Goods; grandmother-Ida Mae Goods; uncle-M C Goods; big sister and brother-in-law-Hollie Mae Goods-Rollie and Alvin “James” Rollie; mother-in-law-Celestina Trejo; brothers-in-law-Paul Trejo, Sr. and Herman D. Trejo, Romeo leaves to cherish his precious memory: sister- Yvonne Goods of Hutto, TX; brother- Gerome Goods and wife Theresa of Savannah, GA; his devoted nieces- Michelle Goods-Rollie of Granger, TX; Christi Goods of Hutto, TX and Amber Goods of Fort Worth, TX; his devoted nephews- Kenneth Goods of Indianapolis, IN and Christopher Goods of Hutto, TX; his precious niece/daughter- Candus Taylor- Nichols and husband Lindale of Spring, TX; his precious nephews/sons- Ramonce Taylor of Belton, TX and Cedric Reese of Granger, TX; his loving sister-in-law- Sis. Ramona Trejo-Clark and husband Rev. Charles Clark; and lifelong friend/sister- Nell Williams of Granger, TX. Romeo is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, ex-workers, and wonderful friends.
