Nicholas Isidro Mireles, born on January 20, 2002, in North Richland Hills, TX was sent to his eternal home on October 29, 2024. He was the beloved son of Jose Isidro Mireles and Sylvia Ramirez. Nick, as he was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering generosity. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it has on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Nicholas is survived by his loving parents, Jose and Sylvia, his brother Joseph Ramirez, sister Marcella Ramirez, nephew Miko and niece Aurora. Nicholas was the cherished grandson of Jose Mireles Lara and Margarita Herrera Jimenez and Margaret Castro Ybarra. He also leaves behind aunts and uncles who adored him dearly, along with a host of cousins who shared in his joyful spirit. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Raul Maldonado Ybarra. After his graduation from Richland High School, Nicholas relocated to the Austin area, where he would eventually begin a career with IBC Bank where he excelled and was recognized as Employee of the Month on more than one occasion. “He wanted to go above and beyond when presented with a task,” said his manager. His dedication and desire to succeed epitomized his work ethic. Outside of work, Nicholas enjoyed cooking, gaming and spending time with his family, especially his mother, who he treasured dearly. He had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path. The Celebration of Life service to honor the life of Nicholas Isidro Mireles will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church located at 408 Washburn Street, Taylor, TX 76574. Although Nicholas’ physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us.
