He attended Austin public schools and graduated from McCallum High School in 2005. Michael had big beautiful eyes that warmed your heart and pierced your soul. His mother instilled prayer in him at an early age and he lived his life as a servant of the Most High God. Michael prayed with his family and surely would pray with anyone that needed it. He spend much of his time writing prayers, reading his Bible, worshipping, and thanking God for every healing performance in his life. Michael was a loving, caring, thoughtful person and it brought him joy to give to others. To express his affection, he designed, created, and customized handwritten cards, and poems, to celebrate, honor, and salute those he loved on every occasion. His telephone was his pulpit and he used it along with FB to motivate, encourage, and inspire others. There was not a day that Michael didn’t reach out to his family and friends either by telephone or text message even if they did not call him back. He loved and cared for God and openly expressed his love for Jesus. His devotion was evidenced daily in how he cared for people. He loved spending quality time with his family and with his best friends. Aubrey, Endi, and K.C. Michael enjoyed celebrating his birthdays, family vacations, playing cards, dominoes, and betting on his game. If you lost, you had to pay up. You knew when you played spades with Michael, he was going to always have both jokers and three aces in his hand. Michael loved to win at all costs. He was a prankster and he loved to play. You had better be paying attention because he had a joy of scaring people. As a published author, in 2018, he penned his first book about personal pain, “Love Poetry and Every Level Speaks”. Despite his health challenges, he confronted them head on with the help of his family. Michael was a fighter, he fought to the end, and he had unshakable faith. The agape love Michael had for others was immeasurable. Like Christ Michael had a servant’s heart, therefore, his love was not “lip service” but in his actions, thoughts, and his deeds. He departed this life on January 14, 2023, at 9:45 pm. Michael was preceded in death by his Great Grandmother: Alzada Jones, his Grandparent: Howard fields, Sr., Elnora Taylor, Jewel Mackey Caldwell, Rev. Lanin Lee Caldwell, and his Aunts, Joyce Jones and Sandra Gardner. He leaves to mourn his loss his loving, caring, and dedicated mother whom devoted her life to his care, Marcie Y. Fields-Browns (Dennis) & Father Michael Anthony Caldwell, Sr. Grandparents: Roosevelt Fields, Sr., Barbara C. Grayson (Willie) Walma D. Mosely, Bobbie Griffin-White. Siblings: loving devoted & caring sister, Asalynne S. Caldwell; Shatora Williams (Tim); Shaniqua Knotts, Michaela Caldwell, Mario P. Caldwell, Terrell Sanderson, Tyson Caldwell. Special Nephew: Jeffrey Eli Collins, Jr, Mario Caldwell Jr; Loving and caring Aunts: Frances Cromartie (Charlie); Tommie Jean Johns (Johnny); Kelli M. Walker (Darrlyl); Lisa L. Freeman, Yvonne R. Henderson; Karal G.
