James “Bowie” Hill was born April 24 1969 to a loving mom and dad Velma Hill and Donald Jones, in Taylor, Texas. His transition from earth to eternal life in heaven was June 15 2023 at the age of 54. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age at Saint Lovell Baptist Church in Granger, Texas. Throughout his life, he found solace and joy in the beauty of nature. Fishing trips, hunting excursions, camping under the stars, and lazy days tubing down rivers were among his favorite pastimes. He had an unwavering love for the great outdoors, cherishing every moment spent in its embrace. His early years, Bowie's passion for sports, particularly basketball,football, & softball burned brightly. He poured his heart and soulinto the game, dedicating countless hours to honing his skills. Butbeyond his athletic prowess, Bowie was a pillar of support f or his family. Whenever they needed a helping hand, he was there without hesitation, offering his unwavering assistance. He was proceeded in death by his grandparents Eddie and Pearline Hill, Lorene Jones, Jonnie “Buster” Warner and Eunice Warner; sister Venita Hill; nephew De’Marius Hill; aunts and uncles Mozelle Taylor, Charles “Shack” Warner, Jonnie Warner, and Willie L. Hill. Bowie leaves behind to cherish his memories with his loving Wife Ann Hill; his mother Velma Hill of Austin Texas; father Donald Jones and his wife Ester of Taylor Texas, four siblings Erma (Rounda) Dickson of Georgia,Derrick (Shannon) Hill of Dallas Texas, Keith and Kevin White of California; aunts Beneete Terry and Daisy James of Austin Texas, and Myrtle R. Matthews of Houston Texas; uncles Eddie Hill of Ft Worth, Texas, Joe Hill of Killeen, Texas, James, Ira, and Valza Hill of Austin, Texas; nephews and nieces Latrece Lemuel, DeQuint Hill, Kendale Jones, Montenea Hill, Tatyana Dickson, Jaylen White, Draya Hill, Deriah Hi l, great nieces and great nephews Omari Lemuel, Kendale Jones Jr., Zeundre Hill, Asaya Morris, Demiah Tambunga, Ali Morris, Za’Layah Hill, Charm Morris, Mazion Morris, and Za’Cari Hill; and a host of cousins family and friends
