Dontae Breond Campbell was born on November 17, 1983 in Austin, TX to Leslie Campbell and Loretta Mitchell Campbell. As a small child, Dontae had a natural ability to grab the hearts of everyone he encountered. It was reflected in the life that he lived as an adult. He loved his life, family, friends, food and fun. Dontae had a natural ability for creativity and ingenuity. He could "MacGyver" or rig anything that he could get his hands on. He had a lovable and infectious personality that touched everyone he met. He became a member of every household that he visited. Dontae accepted Christ at the age of 12 at Crestview Baptist Church in Georgetown, TX. He graduated from Georgetown High School in Georgetown, TX in 2002. He later attended ITT Technical Institute for Technical Engineering. He worked at the TX Lottery Commission for 7 years before returning to a job he loved at Hospira, which he worked until his passing. Dontae had such a passion for cars, a passion he was able to showcase as a member of the "Hands Full of Cash Car Club" to which he was a member until his passing under the moniker D Champ. Early Tuesday morning on June 14, the Lord called Dontae home. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Claude and Alice Faye Campbell of Austin, TX. His maternal grandfather James Willie Milton Braggs III of Austin TX, and two uncles James and Tommy Braggs of Austin TX. Dontae leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Loretta Mitchell King (Douglass) of Round Rock, TX, his father Leslie Campbell of Manor, TX, stepmother Tara Campbell of Austin, TX. Longtime girlfriend, Andrea Wilson of Austin, TX to whom was the love of his life, maternal grandmother Laura Marshall of Pflugerville, TX. Four brothers; Ali Mitchell (Leticia) of Austin TX, Brandon Campbell, of Austin TX, Brion Bellinger (Dominic), of Pflugerville TX, Damian Campbell of Austin, TX. One sister; Clautier (CeCe) Campbell of Austin TX. Two nieces; Kyra Mitchell and Cyncere Turner. Three nephews; Damian Jr, Johntae Turner and D'Andre Nelms. Seven uncles; Michael Braggs of Taylor, TX, Terence Braggs of Pflugerville, TX, Tracy Mitchell of Austin, TX, Chris Braggs of Flint, Michigan, Steven Braggs of Natchitoches, Louisiana, Brian Marshall (Regina) of Round Rock, TX and Howard Tipton of Austin, TX. Six aunts; Pamela Bowie of Taylor, TX, Lisa Chandler (Leslie) of Grand Prairie, TX, Pastor Rich Etta Weathersbee (Cordell) of Allen, TX, Wyona Crenshaw (Steven), Pflugerville, TX, Veronica Uzuegbunam of Austin, TX and Tammy Thomas (Ronald) of Moore, Oklahoma, and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends
