She attended Austin ISD Public Schools and received her diploma from Lyndon Baines Johnson (LBJ) High School in Austin, Texas. DeMorry furthered her education by obtaining her degree in Criminal Justice form Austin Community College. Her love for children led her to work as a Juvenile Probation Officer with Travis County Juvenile Justice Department. DeMorry also worked with Texas Department of Health and Human Services Commission for over 10 years. Demorry professed her love of Christ at an early age, under the teachings of Reverend Evans and Reverend Patterson at New Lincoln Missionary Baptist Church in Austin, Texas Preceding her in death is her grandmother Theressa House Walker Williams (Mom). She leaves to cherish her memory, a loving and devoted husband Anthony Desmond Williams. Her daughter, Rajanae Janae Scyrus; Grandchildren; Ziara C. Lavan, and Jaztariah; M. C. Brannigan. Her mother and father, Betsy Walker and Johnnie Bragg; Beloved Uncle; Grand Master Moses Williams Jr.; Sisters: Samone Bonner, Andrea (Bragg); and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends. Brothers: (Clyde Bonner, John Bragg, Jr., Carvel Robertson, Tony Bragg; and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews Cousins, and Friends. “Shay” as she was lovingly known as aby family and close friends, was known for her loving smile which would light up a room, her feisty attitude, and sense of humor. She was known for having the latest fashions, amazing hairstyles, and epic them celebrations. “Shay” loved to travel and was always looking forward to her next big adventure with her husband Anthony. If DeMorry ever referred to or addressed you as FRIEND, please know that you were truly loved, and held a very special place in her heart. “While waiting on God to do the impossible we are all heartbroken just knowing he’s come back for his baby girl. We must continue to keep our faith so please continue to pray for our family in the days to come”. Words of encouragement were inspired by Grandmaster Moses Williams, Jr.
