Brenda Denise Herring, was born on June 22, 1962 in Austin, Texas to Anthony Edward Herring and Rossie Herring Gage, who raised her with Love, Strength, and unwavering support. From a young age, she displayed a vibrant spirit, a kind heart, and a natural ability to bring joy to those around her. Whether it was her infectious laughter, her caring nature, or her ability to turn any moment into a cherished memory, she was a gift to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She attended Austin ISD and DelValle ISD, where she excelled academically and built lifelong friendships. A Hardworking and ambitious individual, she pursued a career in cosmetology. Brenda went on to work in sales at Marshall’s for 10 years, and customer service for HEB for 12 years. Brenda was deeply committee to her work, always strived to make a difference and leave a positive mark on the world. Beyond her professional achievements, Brenda was a woman of many passions, she found joy in dancing, shopping, and most of all being with her family and friends. Brenda loved sports, music, traveling, cooking desserts, like her famous banana pudding, and cheesecake. More than anything, Brenda was devoted to her family and friends. She cherished her relationships and was a source of strength, laughter, and unwavering support to those who needed her. Brenda’s love for her mother Rossie Herring-Gage, Brothers and sisters, her two sons Diontae and Cortney, and her granddaughter Kaia, and her dog Zeke knew no bounds, and she took great pride in being a loyal sister, and friend. She is survived by her mother, Rossie Herring-Gage, Anthony E. Herring (Saretta), Patricia F. Herring-Cottman, Deborah Herring-Callies (Willie) of El Campo, Tx, Dwayne E. Herring (Erma), Darryl L. Herring (Deidra), Ronald E. Herring (Sharon), Katina R. Herring, Eric Jones, By Her Children, Diontae Herring, Cortney Powell, Granddaughter, Kaia Powell and Great Granddaughter Livia and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her father Anthony Edward Herring, and Stepfather, Artie Lewis Gage, and her eldest sister Joyce Adell Olds-McKinney, her grandparents Allie B. Williams, Jr. and Lulla Williams whom we take comfort in knowing welcomed her with open arms. Through the pain of her loss is overwhelming, we find solace in the memories she left behind. Her spirit will live on in every shared store. Every echo and laughter, and every act of love inspired by her example. We will forever carry her in our hearts.
