Bobby began his early education in Lincoln Parish Schools in Grambling, Louisiana before relocating with his mother and continuing his education in Fort Worth, Texas attending Como High School. Bobby was an inquisitive young man who was always interested in learning new and different things. He would often recount stories of learning how to cook various recipes with his mother.Bobby went on to be employed by General Motors in Arlington, Texas. He later became owner of his own business Younger Services, specializing in electrical, landscaping, tree trimming and carpentry work. Numerous people say that if Mr. Younger came out to your house to do some work, he would leave with two or three additional projects to complete. Bobby loved his work helping people improve their homes, taking pride in every project he completed. More than anything Bobby loved his family and was never shy about voicing that fact to any and everyone. Bobby relocated to Austin, Texas in 1990 and united with the Mt. Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. G. V. Clark. He then married the love of his life Pamela Lockridge on April 20, 1991, and they worshipped faithfully as members of Mt. Zion. Bobby was active in the “Silver Soldiers” Ministry and continued displaying his forever upbeat and jovial personality. While living in Austin, Bobby was employed by Randall Electric Company and also maintained his own business. Bobby was gifted the ultimate gift of fatherhood through his three children. Bobby will be loved, missed and admired by so many. Bobby departed this life on December 17, 2022. He was preceded in death by his father, Lugene Younger, his mother Pinkie Reynolds Bovance-Whitten, his sister Gilla (Gail) Bovance, his brother, Albert Bovance, Jr., and his daughter Yolanda Younger. He leaves to cherish his memories and legacy, his loving wife of 31 years Pamela Younger, his children Cedric Younger, Teresa Younger, Mia Younger, Mother-In-Love Susie Morris, brother LeeDale Younger (Yardis), sisters Angela James (Leo), Alma Schlosser (Lothar), Barbara Chism, granddaughter Brook Ashley Darby, grandsons Brandon Younger, Caden Younger, Eric Rayford, Nicholas Bishop, Brandon Moore, great grandchildren Brooklyn Younger, Aaliyah Monae Younger, Treasure Divine Younger, Ja’Ceon Maurice Younger, three aunts, two uncles, several cousins, other family members, and a host of friends.
