Aaliyah’s sunset was on 11/08/2022 . “Aaliyah” means “Rising, Ascending, High -Born & Exalted” Aaliyah came to live with her paternal grandmother Rhatina “TT” Reed, when she was 9 months old. During this time Aaliyah’s personality blossomed into a bubbly, outgoing, & high energy little girl. February 16, 2022, Aaliyah was formally adopted by her TT. Aaliyah proved to be a fighter and a strong spirit even at this young age. She endured physical hardship & pushed through it like a bull! Aaliyah’s presence on this earth was brief but her impact on those around her was powerful. Her beauty radiated inside and out. It could be seen with your eyes and felt deep with your heart. Her thick full mane of hair was her crown of glory. Aaliyah was a small package but full of big life. She was funny, intelligent, curious, and so determined to achieve whatever obstacle she had at hand. She could operate a cellphone better than AT & T or Verizon technician. Her very presence brought joy & happiness to anyone she encountered. Aaliyah was very independent and a fast learner. She accomplished many tasks to be a 3 -year -old. She was a big sister. She mastered driving a 4 -wheeler, scooter and riding her horse. Aaliyah had a special love for Minnie Mouse, playing on her phone or tablet, and watching CoCo Melon. She enjoyed going to the park/playground with her Granny Judy, attending church services with her PawPaw Curtis and family, having special moments with Grandpa Micah and getting lots of warm hugs from Grandma Lashonda. Aaliyah was the brightest light in our world. She was loved fiercely by her family and all those who had the privilege to know her. She made an instant impact on anyone she met. She will forever be the most beautiful star that lived in our lives and now she dwells as the most luminated light in our hearts. Aaliyah has been exalted & has ascended back to our Heavenly Father where she now has the duty of being our Angel. Aaliyah is survived by her parents, Davieon Reed & Asiya Mosley. Her adopted parent and Grandmother Tina “TT” Reed (paternal), PawPaw Curtis & Teresa Alston (paternal), Grandfather Micah Mosley (maternal), Grandmother Lashonda Mosley (maternal), a sister Arica Mosley, great -grandparents, aunts, uncles, and a host of cousins and loads of best friends .
