David accepted Christ at an early age at Rosewood Baptist Church. David attended school at Sims and Barbara Jordan Elementary; Manor Middle School and graduated from Lyndon B. Johnson High School in 2011. David was a talented football player. He was on the Warriors and Yellow Jackets Youth Football Teams at the age of five. He continued playing football until the 8th grade. When David was about six years old, he would observe everything that had to do with putting things together. Whenever his mother needed his help, David was right there hooking things up. His mother would always tell him that he needed to be an electrician when he grew up. Instead, David took on Culinary and while known for his cooking skills, he earned the nickname, “CHEF EARL.” David was the sweetest, loving, caring person and would give his last. He was a great father, son, brother, nephew, uncle, and a very loyal friend. David was loved by many and was the life of the party when family and friends came together. He truly kept the party alive and kept everyone laughing. David was a true believer and he remained faithful to his calling until God called him home. David was preceded in death by his son, Dakyrie Bedford; his great grandfather(s), Nathaniel Marshall, Percy Bedford, Obie Carrington, and Charles Shields; great grandmother(s), Dorothy Marshall, Cherry Carrington, Elizabeth Bedford and Vicelia Horton; grandmother, Patricia Marshall; bonus grandmother, Janice Bedford; and grandfather, Thomas Marshall, Sr. David leaves to cherish his memories; his parents, Dedra Herring (Darryl) and David Bedford, Sr. (Electra); grandmother, Georgia Williams; grandfather, Willie Roy Bedford; his children; Da’Niya Bedford, De’asia Bedford, David Bedford III, and Davion Bedford; his siblings, LaToya Augustine, Brittany Bedford; half-sisters, Shavira Johnson, Kyonna Walker and Monique Butler; step-sister, Brianna Roberson; step-brother, Bobby Roberson; a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.
